Woodhorn Museum

Wedding photography at Woodhorn Museum, Northumberland.

THE VENUE

Woodhorn Museum is a genuinely unique venue built around a former colliery in Ashington, striking industrial architecture, the iconic "Cutter" sculpture, and beautifully preserved heritage buildings set within open parkland. It's a venue with real character and history, offering a backdrop unlike anywhere else in the North East, from dramatic modern structures to rich mining heritage and green outdoor space for photographs. We photograph weddings here in the same documentary style we use everywhere else, relaxed, candid coverage that captures the day as it actually happens.
